ABA

ABA looks at what your child is doing now, and what you want them to do.

Daimon, age 2, pulls his mom to the fridge when he wants a drink of juice. Mom wants him to point to “juice” on his picture chart.

Aliyah, age 4, lines up her crayons instead of coloring with them. Mom and Dad want her to scribble with crayons.

Jasmine, age 9, looks down and chews her sleeve when being introduced to new people. Her parents and siblings want her to look up and say “hi”.

  • Your child’s team works to replace unwanted behaviors with functional alternatives.
For example, using words instead of gestures.
  • You experience the joy of helping your child learn how to express their needs and preferences in a functional, socially acceptable manner.
Even a brief moment of eye contact can be a really big deal. Every small step is a cause for celebration.
  • You get training, support, and encouragement so that you can implement the program, even without your child’s therapist present.
You’re with your child 24/7, through thick and thin. We give you the know-how to not only handle them, but teach them too.
